I liked the original Punisher film (the Thomas Jane not the Dolph Lundgren version). I didn’t think it was that bad anyway. Despite this though, there were some quite damning reviews and the box office takings were substantially lower than expected. With this in mind, is in interesting to question why making a sequel. Perhaps this type of film does better in DVD sales. Punisher: War Zone is due out in December 2008, and I plan to do my bit to promote it (gotta love the underdogs). (Posters Courtesy of UGO).
