For those of you who have read the excellent Danny Wallace book entitled “Yes Man”, you will know that it was a conscious decision for him to say “yes” to every question (that he would normally say “no” to). The new trailer for the film adaptation of the book (starring Jim Carrey), suggests that the lead character has no choice in the matter. Unfortunately, this then looks like a promotion for simply another Liar Liar movie.

I can only suggest then, that one of two things have happened:

1. The movie is simply a sequel to Liar Liar (awful idea)
2. The marketing bods in charge of this trailer need their head examining because it is advertising something the film isn’t.

Let’s hope that the latter is the real reason.
