Emily Blunt joins The Adjustment Bureau

Submitted by Richard Mann on July 15, 2009 – 7:23 pmNo Comment

emily_bluntEmily Blunt (last seen The Young Victoria) will join the ever-entertaining Matt Damon in a new Philip K. Dick adaptation named “The Adjustment Bureau”. The film focuses on an affair between a politician and a ballerina which is affected by mysterious forces keeping the lovers apart.

I know, I know; it sounds a little bit weird but when you consider what Philip K. Dick has written in the past then you trust in the fact that The Adjustment Bureau may well be cinema gold!

Without this iconic writer the following films wouldn’t have been made:

  • Blade Runner
  • Total Recall
  • Minority Report
  • Paycheck
  • A Scanner Darkly
  • Next

okay, so you may of not liked some of the above, but if you base your opinion on sheer creativity, Philip K. Dick’s work is to be respected.

Fundamentally this piece of news may merely be an excuse to include an image of the versatile Ms Blunt, but can you blame me?
