Javier Bardem (the scary guy from No Country for Old Men) left the production of “Nine” (a musical) directed by Rob Marshall, due to exhaustion. Well, it seems that a hopeful replacement may be on the cards. The producers are seeking to convince Daniel Day-Lewis for the role (There Will be Blood). I’m not so convinced of this truthfully. Daniel Day-Lewis only takes films that he truly is passionate about, sometimes waiting many years for the next decent role instead of taking anything (unlike some – mentioning no names but you know who you are Ben Affleck). The film is rumoured to star a whole host of stars: Penelope Cruz, Nicole Kidman, Judi Dench and Sophia Loren. It is possible that this rumour (another one this week) is just that, but we’ll keep you informed..
