Yes this is completely genuine. The first ten minutes of the upcoming movie “An American Carol” is available here. Clearly an attempt to get butts on seats in theaters across the globe. However lest we forget that David Zucker was once a master of comedy. He was responsible for the excellent Top Secret, Naked Gun and Airplane. Perhaps he can encourage just a few more people to attend the cinema after his wasted efforts in Scary Movie 4. An American Carol is an unusual twist on “a Christmas Carol”, but will it just bastardise a classic tale or make it better? Methinks a good bastardisation will be in order.
